Celebrating San Francisco’s Chinatown, this Nike Dunk honors the people and culture that helped build one of the largest Chinese communities outside of Asia. The shoe’s nickname is based on the California Gold Rush and the stories of “Gam Saan” (aka “Gold Mountain”) which attracted immigrants who carved out a place for themselves to preserve their traditions while laying a foundation for future residents, resulting in the neighborhood and the city that surrounds it.
