After seeing a resurgence as of late, the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 retro basketball shoes are now available in this “White and Photo Blue” colorway. New from Nike Sportswear, these throwback hoops sneakers revisit one of the first basketball shoes to utilize Nike Zoom Air technology, with a futuristic “Bug Eye” design that made it unique on and off the court, back in the day. Releasing on Sept. 17th and currently available for $160, these Nike Air Zoom Flight 95s combine a clean White and Black color scheme, with Photo Blue highlights on the Swoosh logos, “Flight” branding and other spots, with Roma Green layered in on the liner and logo outlines. Check out official images along with release details and links to where you can buy a pair below.
What makes this shoe special?
The shoe’s “bug eye” detailing makes them as unique looking today as they were when they first hit the hardwood on the feet of basketball players like Jason Kidd back in 1995. Zoom Air cushioning also adds a different level of comfort, almost like your foot is closer to the ground but with comfy effect somewhat like Air Max cushioning, but not as bulky. The Photo Blue highlight hue also hooks nicely with some of the season’s Nike apparel for the full fit, whether you plan on wearing them to hoop or simply turn heads on the street.
Why do you need a pair?
They look drastically different than just about every other basketball shoe that’s currently out there, so if you want to stand out from the crowd with a story to tell what’s on your feet, these kicks are a pretty good pick to snap some necks. Plus the white, black and blue color combo is sure to be a versatile addition to your style game, season after season, no matter which season it is.
Where can you buy them?
They are available at Nike Store.
